IWC Mark XVI DLC IW325501 Fliegeruhr Pilot

For auction is a IWC Mark XVI DLC IW325501 Flieger Pilot in Black coating. This might be the best looking of all the DLC / PVD watches we have offerred. This watch was screaming out to be coated.....it looks absolutely incredible black/black/black with those high contrast bright painted white Arabic numerals against a grainy matte highest quality dial. People worry about these coatings but they shouldn't: wear it carefully and don't abuse it and they'll wear just fine. Bracelets tend to set you up for disappointment...bracelets are scratch magnets regardless of coating. However as this is set up, as a DLC head, it ought to wear just great. With papers and matching serials and in an unworn condition post-coat (pre-coat it was 98% original condition) it is as clean as could be. Strap is 95% and this watch is ready to start life with its new owner. A cool watch that absolutely nobody else has, I expect this to follow its flieger heart and fly.
